CHARACTER INFORMATION

Name: Tsuki Aoi
Age: 16
Canon: Shitsurakuen
Canon point: Chapter 19

Personality:
In truth, even in canon, for the most part Tsuki remains a complete mystery in most regards. She is incredibly intelligent and calculating, often crafting intricate plans. The exact scope and nature of this is as of yet unknown in canon, but at the current point in the story she is likely the one with the most knowledge of the Exaclan System, its purpose and its inner workings. She is the sub-chief of the System, and states that the Game is under her control. Because of her incredible intelligence, she seems to look down on those around her. She has no qualms with coldly hurling insults at her enemies or those she disdains.

But beyond her intelligence, or perhaps because of it, she is an incredibly stoic individual. She rarely lets her thoughts or feelings show, her expression rarely changing. Even when speaking of terrible things, such as her own plight, she does so in an apparently apathetic daze. As her childhood friend and protector, Sora Himoto says, she has always been like that ever since she was little: even when in pain or suffering, she never shows it. This is not to say she doesn't care one way or the other; if anything at times this seems more like a protection mechanism. However at the same time, she also has the utmost faith in her childhood friend and protector, Sora Himoto. The rare times her cold stone-faced persona manage to slip, even for a moment, are around her. She also has the habit of calling Sora an idiot, though one might surmise she does so in a strangely affectionate manner.

While at first in the narrative she seems detached from events, this is actually a cleverly constructed ruse. She goes out of her way to help Sora, while at the same time hiding her own identity for both of their sakes. Wearing a mask and wig she presents herself to Sora as Ix, instilling in her the will to fight and protect her princesses, while also bestowing upon her a powerful weapon in her time of need. Likewise, she often gives her advice and councils her on how she should proceed with things, such as giving her the idea to find a male ally to transfer ownership of girls she saves to. She has has a somewhat self-sacrificing nature, willing to put herself in danger for others. When Sora volunteers to fight El to obtain her, she dissuades her from doing so in order to continue to help Sora by spying on El for her. This eventually backfires when she is discovered and captured.

Yet even while captured and tortured, she still perseveres stoically with an unfailing belief in Sora. Rather than cowering or being afraid, even when she's been covered in snakes and humiliated, she remains calm and composed. Perhaps showing her own lack of fear, she even goes as far as belittling and insulting her captives. The only threat capable of getting a rise out of her is one directed at Sora, which forces her to cooperate with El at times against her will.

Weapon:
Name: ???
Form: A strange weapon that lacks any concrete form, it is instead made up of light. It radiates and crackles with energy, thus its exact size is indefinite as well. It can be likened to a sword of light, though at times its length is perhaps more equivalent to a spear. While its main body is a single straight shaft, the energy it radiates is so strong that numerous branches of light extend from it in various directions. When the weapon is first drawn in the series, its power is so great than it extends in the form of a gigantic cross in the sky that can be seen by many all over the campus.

Sample:
Sitting on a bench under the sun in the courtyard of the school, Tsuki glanced up from the book she had been reading, unable to concentrate on it. The book was interesting enough, that was true, but she was still having trouble focusing. She knew well enough why, though it was still annoying.

This was Utopia Academy and yet it was not. That alone was disturbing enough, but what bothered her most was all of the various unknowns. The game was the same, and yet subtly different. In fact, that just about described everything about this place. She had to admit it was preferrable to the Utopia Academy she was familiar with in many ways, but the lack of familiarity was nonetheless jarring. Back home, she had understood how things worked, as well as why. Here, she had none of that knowledge. Why would someone recreate the Exaclan system here, especially if not in order to enforce the ultra male chauvinist ideology of the Iwahijiri Group?

It made no sense at all.

"This is idiotic," she grumbled as she slammed her book shut in frustration, for a brief moment her mask of apathy fading. But only a moment. Her expression returned to its neutral dazed look almost immediately as she shook her head, before glancing into the distance.

It all came back to that dream, didn't it? For an analytical mind like hers, putting stock in something so indefinite and strange was hardly satisfying. But it was really the only clue they had for now. If only she could remember it more definitely! She had faith in her own recollections, however, and she knew the others brought here similarly could not recall things clearly. Thus, it could only be concluded that whoever had brought them here had constructed the game in that way on purpose. She let out another slight sigh, glancing around the courtyard.

For now she had no choice but to play along, laying low. And she would do just that. But as soon as a vulnerability became obvious, she would not hesitate to exploit it. She had things to accomplish back in her own Utopia Academy, even if that meant returning to captivity. But until then she figured she could just enjoy her time here.
